She is so stinkin cute to me!

Front door banner that came from TJ Maxx.

Nastalgic pumpkin from Hobby Lobby-
I think most people love this time of year. It's beautiful outside with the weather a lil' cooler and the beginning of such fun activities. A few of our favs are football season, the pumpkin patch (which we went to this past weekend), fall food, and halloween! Speaking of.... we are still storming over what the kids will be for halloween this year. Some ideas that are brewing.... hamburger & french fries, Mickey & Minnie, and a cat & dog.
Happy Fall Y'all !!!!!!

Spring {easter}

This was back in April on Easter Sunday. I am amazed at how much Reese has changed in her face. It seems that she still had some of that baby look and now more of a little girl appearance. I just printed off these pics and ended up putting one in our kitchen of the both of them.

Downtown {north little rock}

My mom has a neat, big camera and I am starting to take advantage of it! We went downtown one evening and I was able to snap a few pics of the kids that we thought turned out good. Not anything professional, but pics that we can use around the house. They were taken earlier this month.

p.s. {it's this man's birthday today}

We love you and wish you an incredible 32nd birthday. You make us very proud!!!!

August {just fam}

We went to MS mid-August and this was taken as we were leaving LR. The entire fam went!

Mexico {july 2010}

The pics are in no special order.... this is Laura and she lives in NYC with her hubs, Frankie. We met them on our trip and had dinner a couple of times and went out to Playa one night together. She is adorable and such a sweetheart!

This was our favorite drink of the week....the Riviera Maya. YUM!

Jason and Frankie one night at dinner....

One of the many "friends" that hung around our resort. Some of them were huge.

ahhhhh, the good ole beach.......

the pool where we hung out for the first part of the day.

part of the resort.... everything was beautiful.

For my 30th birthday, Jason took me to Playa del Carmen for 5 days. We had a great time relaxing and sitting by the pool or the beach. We didn't take enough sunscreen or chapstick, so we came back slightly red. We met 3 couples by the pool that we talked to often, read books, played water sports, and ate excellent food! Thanks to my parents and my aunts for taking care of Jonas and Reese. We would not have been able to go without you!!!

the blog

Can I just say that it has been forever since I have posted????

I am too overwhelmed with the blog to post anything with value. I couldn't remember my password it had been so long since I had logged in. And, our comp is 10 years old and is very slow at updating the blog. I also just spent 45 min trying to change the silly background only to realize that my template is weird and won't show the entire background. I am just too frustrated to do anything with it. Presley, I had read your first post since Feb and I feel the same as you! My list of stuff that I want to accomplish daily, weekly, or yearly is very similar to yours, and the blog just isn't on the forefront of my list.

To the few that follow us, I mainly post pics anyway and have been sending you guys photo albums via email. I will continue to do that until I can get with a friend on how to properly update our blog with cuteness.

Jason says that a comp will be purchased in our home soon but he wants it to be a Mac. Of course I have no idea how to work a Mac, and will need lessons on that too.

Here are some bullet points on what has been going on with the LozadaCrew!
  • Jason and I went to Mexico the beginning of August for my 30th birthday!
  • I turned 30 on August 6th.
  • Jonas continues to excel at his school. He loves it and has started a new school year within the last 3 wks. You know he goes year round, so his transition was EASY!
  • Jonas did have 2 days off (yes, only 2 days off for the summer) and we went SOUTH to visit Jason's mom and sibs. We had a great time!
  • Nonetheless, we are headed back SOUTH in Oct for USM homecoming and to visit with Nana & Pops (Jason's dad)
  • I joined Weight Watchers because I still have baby weight that has got to COME OFF! It has been a slow process.
  • Our fam joined a local gym that we LOVE. I work out 4 times a week and can see improvement. TTL! Did bootcamp before that and it really jump-started me to continue working out at the gym.
  • At some point we would like to have another child. It seems that the 4yo and 3yo stages are the HARDEST thus far, so that puts a HAULT on the baby making business. The kids just might be 10 and 11yo before they ever see a baby in this house. Shoot, they might be in college. It just hasn't been that fun here lately. Hate that smart mouth talking.
  • We have really enjoyed our new house. There are some cosmetic changes that we want to work on, but no hurry. We love company, so come see us! Would love to have friends and family over!
  • Millie came close to death after eating a real bone. She came through just fine with antibiotics and a 2 night stay at the vet. It was touch and go there for a day or so. Thanks to Casey Brown for taking such good care of our furry gal. You really did an excellent job and were on top of getting her to the vet quickly! (She got sick while we were in Mexico.)
  • Disney might be in our near future before 2010 ends.
  • USM starts off college football tomorrow night. SMTTT!

With all that said, have a safe Labor Day Weekend!
