Christmas Tree Farm

I love traditions and this is one for our family. We go each year to a local Christmas tree farm and saw down our tree. This year, the farm added a swing set and the kids loved it! Last year they added a pig race but we missed seeing it this round. They also have a mini petting zoo. I actually took TONS of pics on my mom's camera, but this is all I got from mine. It also took us a while to find the perfect tree because we picked ours out a couple of days late. We just about didn't find one, but we love Motley's Tree Farm for you locals reading our blog.

And no matter where we go, I almost ALWAYS take this pic of Jason and me. He doesn't like it, but I love it! Merry Christmas! p.s. Still working on the Christmas card. You might be getting it right on Christmas day!

Welcome to our new home! Part I

This is the formal dining room:

Mantle: Our very first one!

We moved in the Monday before Thanksgiving! It has been an adventure to say the least. We still have boxes in the garage that need to be put away. We have tons more Christmas decor that was not put up. The list goes on and on, but WE LOVE our new house!!!!!! I get overwhelmed easily and it will probably take me a while to get everything just the way we like it. We are enjoying the extra space and the kids have their own room. The upstairs will have to be another post. Now all we need is for you to come visit! We would love to see you! Come on over anytime!

Santa @ Pigtails & Crewcuts

This is what happened when Santa walked in to the salon:

Much better once SuSu was holding her:

Jonas LOVES characters, especially Santa:

Holiday House

Amanda and I after we parked *miles* away from Holiday House.....We looked cute though!

This was after our shopping experience.

After I dropped Amanda off, I returned with my mom for a couple of more hours.
Outline of the day & thoughts of how fun it was......
Lunch with Amanda: $20 (thanks girl!)
Cute shoes: hurt both our feet
Cute outfit: pulled and prodded on it ALL day (that is why I went in jeans the second-go-round)
Vendors: Creative ideas to add to my Project List
Gossip: Couldn't get enough of it
Time with Amanda: LOVED IT! Our minds were racing with all the cute ideas we came up with.
Time with Mom: Always fun and tasted all kinds of sweets that went home with us.
Negative: I have to wait 365 more days for it to happen again!

Will the leaves ever stop falling?

Probably like your yard, ours is covered in leaves. I will be glad when they stop falling. We rake piles (and I mean BIG piles) and then the kids play in them. I captured these one fall, warm day this past week. I hear it is getting cooler so we will miss playing outside so much when the cold weather arrives. You gotta love when the kids stay in their PJ's all day. My kind of day!

Best Frands

Don't you love this picture? This is Kelsie and Reese playing in Reese's bed one afternoon. We love when Bevie and Kelsie come play..... which is usually once a week. Just a shout out to Bev: 1. Update your blog 2. I love our conversations and how we chew the fat more than anyone I know 3. Our bow-making skills 4. Teaching you all about SOUTHERN CHARM :) and the love for monogramming.

Another hair-cut for Reese

I only straighten her hair when I have the intentions of trimming her ends. I did just that this past week and couldn't believe how long it was!

We visited with Jason's brother Robert, his wife Jamie Lee, Aunt Jenn, Aunt La-La, Baby B, and G'ma Doreen while in good ole Laurel! Jason rented a 15 passenger van for us all to go out to eat and to Target. We had lots of giggles, stayed up way too late, and the kids PLAYED hard. We love you!

Visit with Nana & Pops

While we were in MS, we stayed with the Lozada's on the coast. Thank you for keeping the kids so that I could have some girl-time with my best friends and to let Jason and me go to Homecoming. It's always fun to go home and be with family! We love you guys and will see you in the Spring!
