Bath Time Fun

Here I am playing in the tub. The only part I don't like is getting my hair washed. I seem to hate when the water comes down on my face. Besides that, I enjoy crawling around and playing with my toys. Splish Splash!!

This is me looking at Millie, but you can't see her. Just as mom was typing this out, I was leaned over Millie as she was lying down and she was licking my face! I love my Millie girl!

I had my first year check-up today. I succeeded well and am in perfect condition. Mom forgot to get my prescription for my liquids to be thickened, so she has been on the phone this afternoon with my doc figuring out the details!
Casey speaking....Jonas had another swallow study done last week where he still penetrates liquids. This means that his water, juice, & milk has to be thickened to a nectar consistency for another 6 mths until we have another swallow study done. I just knew Jonas would do fine and we would not have to continue with this issue, but the x-ray showed "deep penetration" into his trachea and this is not okay. He does fine with the liquid thickened just a bit. It's an easy fix but his thickening solution is a prescription that the doc has to give us. During his one year check-up, it totally slipped my mind to mention it, so I called the doc back this afternoon.
Besides this, Jonas weighed in at 25lbs and 31 in. He is in the 75th percentile for height and weight. He got 3 shots and once the nurse put in the 3rd one, he stopped crying. He did very good and so did I comforting him:)

Okay..... we are off to play!

My new car seat

Here I am facing forward in my new, big boy car seat. I guess it's time to change me around. I am weighing 24 lbs these days and over 31 inches tall, so I hope I am okay in this new seat. I seem to like it better than my old one. It must be comfy, because I fall asleep in it quite a bit.

My first year shots and doctor's appt is this Friday. I will keep you posted on how I do. I took an antibiotic for 10 days that helped my ears and runny nose. But guess what.... my runny nose and congestion is back. Probably got that from daycare! Yuck!

Yes, this post is past due! We are having a ball this new year with cruisin' around the furniture, getting into EVERYTHING including some of my favs....the refrigerator, mom's hair brush drawer, the bath-tub (while mom is taking it, not me), opening & closing doors, and pulling down the CD's from our case. It's so much fun to explore!
