the sisters came to the Rock!
Reese sitting in the new table & chairs that are just their size from the sisters. We love it!!!

Aunt Deb & Aunt Kathy came into town for the weekend! We always love when they visit! Thank you for coming last minute and spending so much time with the kiddos. We love the outfit and pj's as well. We hope to make it to T-town soon. Love you!
Mommy's new hair-cut!
On Saturday, I went to Amelia's wedding shower and had a great time with work friends chatting and eating. The food was delicious and the fellowship even better! Melanie, I am always up for another chat with you... girl, anytime. You are full of advice :)
Denise and me... my twin at ACH! At work, everyone gets us confused. Now that we have similar hair-cuts, everyone will for sure think we are related.

I decided to get my hair cut while Jason was out of town (thanks Holly for the idea). Made the appt and didn't tell anyone. Went before work, had no limits except it couldn't be above the chin. My girl told me she would cut away and that when it was over, "I would love it!" She was so right! I was shocked at first, but love the short bob.
p.s. didn't tell jason until he saw it when he got off the plane. he loved it too.
the day daddy left for a week (business trip)
Jason left for another week long training for his series 7 test. These pics were taken last Sunday right after we got back from the air-port. The week without our daddy was eventful. Reese & Jonas broke something made of glass on the same day.... at different times. Both kiddos fell off our front porch, once on Monday and then on Thursday. It was very traumatic for me and I had an emotional few days there, but things got better by Friday! I also had a stomach bug Sunday/Monday and had to call on SuSu for help. SuSu & Poppa kept the kiddos for me at night while I worked. Thank you for your help!!! I could not have survived the week without you. Daddy returned Friday night and we are so thankful for all he does for us!
July 4th fun & fireworks
Jonas is wearing some rain-boots that were Jason's 25 years ago. I can't believe they are in good condition... And, Jonas loves wearing them :)

Daddy & Reese strummin' the guitar

At the ball park to see the fireworks. Reese eating cotton candy!

My daddy, aka Poppa

My momma, aka SuSu

We went to our ball-park to watch the fireworks and the kids could have cared less what was going on. Jonas & Reese were more interested in climbing the steps, running around, and eating cotton candy. Reese fell asleep in poppa's arms right when the fireworks started.

At mommy's work!
At my work, the Child Life department is presenting on Positions for Comfort to nurses and other staff. The positions help children cope with needle sticks or other invasive procedures. The goal is for the parent to hold the child so the pt is comforted by their guardian during the tramatic event. Jonas, Reese, and I were models for the positions and I wanted to share the photos.

This is Jana holding Jonas. Jana is a Child Life Specialist with me. Also in the pic is my boss, GK.
