At mommy's work!

At my work, the Child Life department is presenting on Positions for Comfort to nurses and other staff. The positions help children cope with needle sticks or other invasive procedures. The goal is for the parent to hold the child so the pt is comforted by their guardian during the tramatic event. Jonas, Reese, and I were models for the positions and I wanted to share the photos.

This little pig fits in your hand. It was so small and SO cute! It had fur like a kitten.

Jonas loved all the animals last Friday at his school! There was a pony and chickens too. He was making a scrunched face in most of the pics, but that is the face he makes when the sun is shining. He needed his shades on!

Reese & Jonas both got to ride different rides and they had a lot of fun. Jonas rode a mini roller coaster and he loved it. I wasn't sure what he would think, but he enjoyed it. We don't have pics of that ride because it went way too fast! (Actually, Susu got some with her camera that we will have to post later.)

Thanks for going with us Susu & Poppa. We had a great time in the hokey town of Branson!

We went to down-town Little Rock this morning for the farmer's market. We bought fresh veggies and fruit, as well as walked down to see a water fountain that Jonas loves, and stopped by the Peabody to see the ducks.

I couldn't post them all since the kids are not wearing swimmie suits. This was the first time we got the pool out for them this year. Last year, Jonas would have nothing to do with it. He is starting to like the water more and more.
