Update on the kiddos

Jonas had his 2yo well visit and everything is good. He weighs 30lbs and is 3ft tall. He also had a developmental assessment on Friday (required for every speech therapy candidate) and that was fun. Jonas really enjoyed playing with all the toys. It appears he is delayed socially and in the adaptation area (I think). Not sure what all that means, but will know more this Thursday as I meet with our caseworker to go over the assessment. Due to his delays, Jonas will also receive developmental therapy once a week along with speech twice a week. We are still not in speech therapy, but hopefully by the end of the month we will start. It's been very frustrating and I am anxious to get it going.
Reese turned 10 mths on Sunday and she is into everything. She has just started pulling up and does it with no problem. She ate her first cheese puff this morning and loved it. The pics show her cute face (and the puff remains). Jonas appears to be very jealous of Reese and they are starting to "fight" over toys. Mainly just push and shove.... and then Jonas hits Reese in the head. She remains to be fearless, independent, and on the move. One of these days, she is going to beat Jonas up.... and it won't be long.

Wow!!!! Jonas REALLY loks like Jason in these pictures!! He looks like a little man - all grown up. Reese is a hoot!!! She reminds me of Dana with her personality (minus all the screaming Dana did). They are just adorable and I LOVE the sibling rivalry!!! I hate that Dana will never know...

Your kids are SO adorable. I love seeing the pics of Reese smiling. She seems like she could light up a room with that smile! I would love to meet them one day. We'll have to plan to see you all when you're back in MS!
