USM Homecoming

Marie and me

Happy Halloween!

We did Halloween on the Hill in Park Hill last Friday. The kids had a good time collecting candy and then digging in it soon after we finished. We ran into the Alston family while we were out trick or treatin'. Jonas, Reese, Corbin (in stroller), Claire, Carson, and Caleb standing behind the stroller.

Monogram It!

More monogrammed items that I have worked on lately. My machine was in the shop back this summer for a month. I was having withdrawals without it. It's so much fun having around!

Say Cheese!

These were just taken this past weekend. Reese is wearing a Christmas dress, but she thinks the trees are ice-cream cones. And does she ever love ice-cream t-shirts. She had one this summer that she insisted on wearing everyday and also sleeping in. I am glad fall is here just so we can get rid of that ice-cream shirt from Walmart! You can also see Jonas' boo-boo on his chin where he fell in a parking lot while riding his tricycle.

What's been going on!

All of this is an update since the last time I posted, in NO particular order!

  • Both kids moved up in daycare. Jonas is a Frog III and Reese is a Busy Bee.
  • Jonas started back Speech Therapy late August. He is doing great!!
  • Both kids are using the potty to pee-pee, but still require pull-ups for the other stuff!
  • Attempted to take Reese's paci away but Jason felt real bad for her 2 days into it, and gave it back :(
  • Our house is for sale!
  • We are going to USM's home-coming in 2 wks! Go Eagles!
  • I have gone part-time at work.
  • I went to Vegas with a great friend back in August.
  • Jason is headed to see U2 as I write this.
  • Both kids have started riding tricycles.
  • We have a new neice named Sadie.
  • Reese fell at a playground and got a knot on her chin. I was about to take her to the ER, but Dr. Becky saved the day! (2wks ago)
  • Our family was in town this weekend: Aunt Deb, Aunt Kathy, and Mamaw Dorothy came to visit!
  • And the best of all..... we will be in Mississippi in 5 days!

Pumpkin Patch

Here we are at the Pumkpin Patch in Mayflower. It's a great family place if you haven't been this fall. Even though it was cold, the kids LOVED riding the ponies/horses and the small John Deere tractors. We ate a big ole' corndog, looked at the animals and picked out some pumpkins!

Diggin' in mom's make-up

Reese got into my liquid blush and rubbed it on her cheek. We were getting ready for my mom's birthday dinner and she had on this white dress when she did it. I was able to grab a few pics before we got it off her face. And she only got a tiny spot on her dress!

Travs game

Walking to the game. We were all holding hands and I thought it was super sweet!
The view of Little Rock from the field.

Reese insisted on wearing her hot pink crocs despite me begging her to wear the cutest red sandals ever. We fought about it and she won after 15 minutes of crying. What difference does it make, right?

Midget wrestling.... not sure what I think about it.

Play equipment for the kids... and this is what we did instead of watching the baseball game.

So proud of Reese for climbing up and sliding down all by herself.

This slide was a little harder but Jonas and Reese loved it! It was really hot and stressful to be there with the kids. We never even saw a pitch or a hit. After the kids played, we headed to the house. Not sure that we will try this again until they are 6 and 8 :)
